Jewish Environmental Activist Jeremy Benstein

Jeremy Benstein is Deputy Director of the Abraham Joshua Heschel Center for Environmental Learning and Leadership, a non-profit educational foundation in Israel dedicated to promoting a vision and program of sustainability for Israeli society.
Benstein holds a doctorate in environmental anthropology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His research topics include Jewish-Israeli-Palestinian environmental initiatives and the environment as a basis for shared citizenship in Israel. He is the author of "The Way into Judaism and the Environment" as well as numerous essays.
