Joel Hoffman - November 10, 2010

Author Joel Hoffman spoke about his latest book, And God Said: How Translations Conceal the Bible's Original Meaning, which uncovers inaccurate or misleading translations of the Hebrew and Christian Biblical texts. This entertaining lecture was part of the Jewish Book and Culture Fair at the JCC.

2nd Annual Community Selichot Program - Saturday evening, September 4

A staged reading by the original cast of Next Act Theatre's hit show, The Value of Names, by Jeffrey Sweet, featuring the themes of atonement and forgiveness, preceded two slichot services (traditional and creative egalitarian) at this event held at Congregation Sinai.

Annual Meeting - August 23

Milwaukee native Linda Frank was the featured speaker at the Annual Meeting. She talked about her recently released novel, After the Auction.
